Between Carl Sagan’s series “Cosmos” and “A brief history of time” by Stephen Hawking my mind was blown away, everything about the universe, planets, stars and by consequence us humans is simply extraordinary, overwhelmingly powerful. Recently I started making my first steps as an astrophotographer. As you may expect, it is harder than what it looks like and I have lots still to learn.

All images have no post-processing, yet… still something to learn. On the left are long exposures (between 10 sec up to 20 min), and on the right star trails which are several images “stitched” together (between 70 up to 750 images). I use a 70D Canon with a 18mm lens.

From these experiences I have also done several time-lapses, I continuously add new, some come again from time to time…
