ELECTRIC MINIBUS

In 1997 the Faculty of Chemistry and the Engineering Institute at the National University in Mexico were working on developing an electric minibus. At some point they realised this was supposed to transport humans, so they approached the School of Design, where I was leading the Raxa project. Thanks to the reputation built with Raxa they proposed us as designers for the interior and exterior of the vehicle, I was in charge of the interior passenger section. In just 8 months we designed and built the entire vehicle. This has been one of the most intense projects ever, we had to work shift of 16 hours a day for several weeks, but we delivered in time! The head of the Engineering Institute was so happy with our job that they paid the airplane tickets to go to our internship with Aros-Throndson that came just a few weeks before ending this project.
